Everyone else my age is an adult, whereas I am merely in disguise.
I went book shopping today, which always makes me happy. I actually went to Chapters to fix a gift card that wouldn't allow me to use it online for some reason (and yes, it was the card itself that was hindering me :P). I got that sorted, but I couldn't leave without buying something now could I? I found 2 wonderful Edward Gorey illustrated creations in the bargain section! YAY! And I replaced a Margaret Atwood I love (Cat's Eye), which I lost during my wanderlust days. I've begun reading it again all ready -- it's so lovely. One thing I was sad about -- I seem to have misplaced my copy of Coraline, just when I wanted to read it to the Brats. I looked for it today, but they didn't have any copies! I've just ordered it online, along with more Gorey and My Booky Wook, so I'm happy. If only I didn't have a splitting headache and no advil to rid myself of it, today would be a damn good day.
