I'm such a dork!
I'm such a dork, but I don't care. I think I got the coolest ever early Christmas gift from John on Saturday. We were wandering around Best Buy trying to do some Christmas shopping. It was crowded as hell, which is why I normally have my Christmas shopping done by now, but I'll just have to remember that for next Christmas. Anyway, he was looking at DVD's while I was looking through some cds, when I heard my cell phone ringing. It was John calling and he said he has a big surprise for me and to stay where I was. He walked up to me with his hands behind his back and asked what my all-time favorite show was and I said my all-time favorite cartoon is Jem, but as for all-time favorite show, that's tough. He brings his hands in front and shows me he found Jem on DVD! It's a DVD set with 19 episodes from the 3rd season. I couldn't believe it! I've been wanting them to bring Jem on DVD forever, but I've never seen it anywhere. They have all kinds of stupid shows on DVD, but I had never seen Jem for sale. Of course, as soon as we got home, I had to watch it. The strange thing is, unlike most of the other shows that I used to love as a kid, but now think are incredibly stupid now that I'm older, I still love Jem! I still think the cartoon is cute and the songs are catchy. And the really pathetic thing is I remembered most of the lyrics from some of the songs. I'm such a dork, but I love my gift!
