Apparently. The many times I tell people to not stand right behind me when I'm sitting at the swticher because it freaks me out is mean and can only have the reasoning that I don't like people looking at my monitors.
It's not allowed to have anything to do with the limited space and the fact that I can't see people back there and fear that if I move I'm going to hit them.
So... I guess it's time to stop moving all together when people choose to stand there.
(because that's the only way they can tell if their video is going to play out in the server....
This is bullshit because they have a way to see it play out in the newsroom... sometimes it'll play there but not out of the server proper and there's no way to tell till it doesn't cue in the server.)
