I am very much tempted to see if someone wants to go to a steampunk convention with me...
There's one in January(11-13) on the QUEEN MARY. in long beach CA. How cool would that be?
It's a weekend.
Steam Powered Giraffe is playing at the Queen's dinner theatre Friday night. (OMGYAY!)
They've got games. A few murder mysteries,
A Poker Tournement
The price till Dec. 1st for two people for all three days with a ROOM ON THE BOAT! is $575.
And flights to CA aren't too bad....
And it's in January... So I wouldn't have to stress about getting time off in sweeps. And it's far enough out that I could actually get the time off...
And I could Con see if I could get Larry to help make a piece or two of a jolly fun Steampunk outfit.
Did I mention that Steam Powered Giraffe would be there! like... Live... Like... They're going to be on the ship. I could meet them.... I could get a pic with them.... OMG!
