Sale Sharks

Nov 02, 2007 23:31

As there is now a lack of rugby league to watch on tv on a Friday night we headed off to Edgeley Park to watch Sale Sharks play Bath in the EDF Cup. It took me most of the first half to get my head switched from league to union. But I got there eventually.

We were sitting close to the pitch, so much thigh-oggling could take place. Even Hubby turned round with raised eyebrows when the Sharks subs warmed up in front of us. No need to claim I was watching the game then!

Most of the guys who'd been on World Cup duty were playing. Chabal got sub'ed in the first half (seemed to have hurt his neck); the Argentinian brothers played. Charlie Hodgson kicked most of our points. Sale won 25-10. Not the best game ever, but significantly more interesting than the England World Cup final the other week.

And there was the closeness of the thighs...
