Rugby League is back
Huzzah!
To round off a great weekend the new season kicked off on Sunday. We had watched the first half of the Wales v Ireland union match before we left our hosts at the cottage. Had to call in to Hubby's work on the way home (and see Fluffs in hospital) but got back in time for us to unpack and get settled in front of the tv just as the St Helens v Huddersfield match kicked off.
I am releaved to say Eorl has not been at the hair dye bottle this year, so we are still with the bleached blond long-haired look (but no ponytails yet). Apart from doing one stupid thing, which gave Saints a penalty from which they went on to score a try, Eorl had a good game. I thought it was an exciting game and wondered if duffcorpinc and pro_hominum were in attendence. I would be surprised if they weren't.
We are still hoping to go and see Bradford v Huddersfield next Sunday. Do I wear my Bradford top or my Eorl shirt? Such a dilemma.
