i got this from rebecca.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to tell you that the FUSD school board members are thinking about cutting classes from the MSJ schedule. The math and English classes will be hit the hardest. You know how right now, in your math classes, there are only about 20 or so kids? Nice, eh? Well, the board peeps are thinking about changing that to around 30+. Wonderful. Real considerate. Not to mention that if your math or English class is the one being targeted, your whole class will be disbanded to different teachers, maybe not even in the same period anymore. If it isn't in the same period anymore....yep, you guessed it....they're going to screw with maybe your ENTIRE schedule! YAY! Who knows what different teachers you'll get. Maybe the kid sitting next to you will be some fat, sleazy, stinky guy. Satisfied with your classes now? Yes? Good. Cause they might change completely to something worse soon.

Teachers already have to hurry from class to class, rearranging the previous classroom perfectly, cleaning the whiteboard, rushing around with all their stuff, arriving nearly late to class, and hurriedly writing new stuff on the whiteboard. Meanwhile, we're sitting bored in our chairs just plain wasting time.

Oh, and did I mention WHY they are doing this? Simple! TEN fewer people this year than last year! So MANY! TEN WHOLE PEOPLE! WOW! Therefore, its OBVIOUS that because there are TEN less people this year, they are going to SCREW with your whole school schedule, including students, teachers, periods, EVERYTHING!

Another reason is this: ONLY 96% of classrooms are being used! OH MY! That's better than Irvingtion, Washington, Kennedy, and American, but of COURSE that's not good enough. There's a WHOLE FOUR PERCENT not being used for ONE SINGLE CLASS PERIOD! The horror!

It's the fourth week of school already, I'm sure all of you would LOVE to have your schedule screwed by them and completely fail your classes cause you missed the first month of curriculum! For English, if you did To Kill a Mockingbird, then suddenly transferred to a class with Mice and Men, you know NOTHING about what they learned about Mice and Men, AND have to do To Kill a Mockingbird over again.

So please, tell your parents about this and ask them to e-mail the FUSD school board. The change may begin as early as next week. As of now, please, only parents should e-mail, cause, after all, they are the voters for the school board members and therefore more likely to be heard. Thanks and have fun!
