in which i ramble

This is beautifully phrased. You should post it somewhere publicly so I can link it to everyone in the world.

P.S. As always, I miss you so much it feels like physical pain. I miss you more when you talk so pretty like this. I believe in a future where we will dance the mambo together on the porch after we've watered our poverty garden. Love you.

That expresses my appreciation of hispanic culture far better than I've managed to do in my own head. Living in a poor white working class to non-working class neighborhood, being slowly populated by hispanic families, I constantly find myself defending their existance in conversation with my neighbors who fictionalize their criminality. I have to constantly ask what problems the large families of hispanics, their children playing soccer in the yard, are causing in our neighborhood? Then I easily reference a handful of WHITE neighbors around us and their consistent drug dealing, child beating, prostitution, etc.

Bring on the mexicans, the brazillians, the cubans, and the rest of the feather footed, trumpet blasting, social dynamos that is the whole of South America. This country F'in needs em.
