Livejournal was being a poop the other day. I had a nice long journal entry and poof.... gone because when I clicked to update, it said they were fixing the LJ servers. Oh cripes. I'm too tired now to go into my Labor Day adventures so you'll have to wait, dear readers, LOL.
This theater project is kinda stressing me out. I am kinda crabbing at Ron and Larry to watch what they are doing, etc. Well one reason is that my painted basement floor has LOTS of scratches in the dark paint and I'll have to repaint the whole thing now, grrr. We cleaned the runway light tracks for my theater this week... what a dirty bitch that took HOURS and thank God it's over. The seat cleaning and reassembly over the week was going well... until tonight. We did one row yesterday, but today we realized there are 2 different sizes of seats because things weren't fitting right! WTF? Some seat parts labeled A and some B underneath, and we have to match the seats up with the backs. Larry and I almost had another row together tonight and at the end, found that some seatbacks were bigger than others and the seats wouldn't fit right. Dammit! Larry and I gave up for the night. That kid's been eating dinner here nightly with me for 4 days now; I feel like I have a son, LOL. I suppose it's only right for his payment for helping me with the seats. Keith and Long popped by unannounced the other day to see the progress. It was a nice chat we had together.
My condo association meeting went well tonight. 2 hours, jeez. I didn't think we had that much to discuss. The meet was across the street, so it was pretty cool seeing what another condo in the sub looks like inside. Different layout than mine.
Going to Art & Apples Fest in Rochester this weekend, and on Sunday to a "flocking"/rally in Grand Circus Park around an old building. "Blow Bubbles, Not Buildings (up en masse)" is the reason, trying to bring people's awareness of how cool/beautiful/historic these old buildings are downtown and how they should be rehabbed if possible. Tons of people walking around the building, blowing bubbles sounds silly. BUT... it should be interesting and it's another excuse I have to go downtown. =) I'm bringing my camera.
I can't believe they know who the TRTL grafitti artist is! He finally admitted it after multiple Freep inquiries. And after all that fuss, the city's not arresting him, either. The Freep ran an article on him on the 28th, and it was interesting. I still like the turtles on the buildings though. Cute.
Michael's doing OK, but not. I'll update on him soon. I tired. I sleep now.
