A music and movie challenge.

This is taking randomness to the extreme, but I don't know who else to ask and haven't managed to Google the information either.  So, folks, here goes!

I used to love "Forever Green" - three seasons of shows about a family relocating from London to the countryside.  In one episode, the character called Hilly is playing something on the piano and Harriet Boult (played by Pauline Collins) is singing along.  The song sounds like something from at least one hundred years ago, a love ballad in the style of Gilbert and Sullivan.  Then today I was watching the 1944 movie "Gaslight" starring Ingrid Bergman, and the man playing her husband sat at the piano and played the same piece of music.

I love this piece and am desperate to get hold of the music so I can learn it myself.  In the past I've been quite adept at hunting down music from movies, but all my usual lines of enquiry have failed me this time.  Can anyone out there help me?

In other news, I'm knackered.  I was hoping for a day off yesterday and after 8am passed, I was very pleased as it's usually the cut-off time.  Then at 8:05 a had a call asking me to go to Maidstone.  Aaargh!  So.  No day off.  But I have four days off now, and tomorrow night my friend Liz is coming to stay overnight before flying out of Luton on Saturday morning to Amsterdam.  So it'll be great to see her!

Right, get cracking on my music problem now friends...please.................................

music, movies, work
