My first academic article . . .

Jul 24, 2008 23:43

. . . is totally awesome and fun to read. It's on Liz Lemon and 30 Rock. You can read it here.

FYI, if you've got Mozilla, open the link with that. Otherwise, you won't see the images in the article. You can open the links, though, regardless.

Made all the nicer for my lovely lady night.

That is one of the very few 30 Rock episodes I've seen! I'll read it as soon as I get a break in work today.

Also, if you're publicity hounding - and I sure hope you are - you may want to unlock this entry.

Cool. Also! I think you may have said something about it but can't remember for sure. Have you been watching Mad Men? It's a good show in general, and one of the themes is the changing roles of women in the work force. Well, and society in general, but it's largely a show about people at their jobs. Since it's set in the early 60s...well, you can imagine, but it's better to see.

I've only read the first four paragraphs so far and it's amazing! Well done!

why can't i comment on the flow page?

this made me want to start watching 30 rock online again. i like the show but never saw it as a representation of tina fey's life. has she said that? if that's the case, i like it even more. i guess either way it is a (comedic) representation of what it's like to be a female comedy writer.

good article!

I don't know. We sent an e-mail to the coordinating editor to fix this (since we don't know how to fix it ourselves) and haven't heard back from her ( ... )

you are welcome to think of me as a text since at this point in my career, i have very little (or basically no) say over what i do, how i act, or really...anything.

it's the text of a great board of producers...who watch my every move. this morning, i worked with one i haven't met to re-record my vocals on my first appearance to sound more aggressive.

so it's not really my text. it's like some dudes'. and ladies'.
