Got back on Saturday at around 2.
I seriously don't want to be here now.
It definitly was the best time I ever had.
Made very good friends with a bunch of people. Everyone in our camp meshed easily with everyone else, except for one girl Alicia. But she really isn't worth the time that I would be using to bitch about her.

1st day - icebreaking
2 day - Rules, going to District office (DO), and watched the Bear videos ("WOAH BEAR! I am human" and "When it's eating you, it's no longer defensive" became quite the inside joke between all the rangers and park maintence)
3 day - ORCA (canoe) and Tool training, and ESY
4 day (july 1st)- Canada day. Skills competition
5 - First trip to town. Went to see a concert which we didn't really listen to. Stole a few guys' chairs. Larissa's birthday.
6 - Holiday. Climbed Mount. Cheminis. The view was mint.
7 - Health and Safety and WHIMIS training
8 - Eco-challenge (Absolutely hated that. had to hike through swamps and portage/canoe in the rain and then being eaten by skeets)
9 - First Aid Training
10 - WDHP and other training again
11 - day off
12 - Town! and Sir Harry Oake's Museum
13 - 15th - Kap-kig-iwan and Ramore Seed Orchard
16 - Adopt-a-Highway cleanup (18km walking)
17 - Fast water canoe training (matechewan)
18 - Town trip number 3
19 - another chill day
20 - 22nd - canoe trip number one (Emily R almost got hit by lightening) and I was on the Outcamp. Painted stuff because of the storm and not being able to do much. Saw a funnel cloud.
23 - GPS workshop (worse than school)
24 - Career Day (got paid for sitting around) and Kenzie's birthday
25 - Visited Wade Lake, our brother camp =D
26 - Trappers Talk
27- 30 - Esker Trail, and I was on the second Canoe trip. Pics were deleted =( stormed really badly. went only about 50isih KM.
31 - Tour day (lumber mill, and Cobalt's mining museum)
32 - Town trip number 4!
33 - Esker Trails / weeding out Leech Beach
AUGUST
34 - Tree nursery (I had KP! (kitchen patrol, and then park maintence)
35 - KP
36 - Carwash in sketchy Kirkland Lake (K.L.) Got a mother sunburn. KL guys are nasty.
37 - First Nation's reserve clean up, then presentations from us and the conservation officers/k-9 units
38 - Wade Lake! went to a pow wow. Potatoe danced. It was mint.
39 - Blueberry festival (i helped out with the volleyball games) and talent show (which was fun and then a huge storm came (again) and Emily R got struck by lightening when her chair was touching the pole that got hit. Emily H was sitting on her and her butt tingled. both are ok, but had to go to the hospital)
40 - Chill day! (civic holiday)
41-42 - Tree planting
43-46 - JAM(boree)!!! The best time of my life. and then shopping in North Bay. first time I stepped in a mall the entire time.
47 - cleared out a dump at a reserve.
48 - Duck banding
49 - Tour day - paper mill, and we got to see the polar bears. Bina's birthday!
50 - Christmas!

It's so hard to sum up this summer. after getting rid of the homesickness, I absolutely couldn't think of a better way to spend my summer. Most days were filled with swapping stories, dirty jokes, rockin out to Queen and 'Get Low' and 'Banana pancakes', giggles and kitchen raids at night while sneaking off to go and sleep on the dock. So many inside jokes and memories made. So many good friendships that will keep going. I miss it. I miss it a lot, and I want to go back.
I didn't really realise this until Jam.
8 camps got together - Esker, Wade Lake, Dividing Lake, Killarney, Machesney Lake, McCreight's Dam, Moose Lake all at Round Lake's camp (it's huge, and very nice)
The last night was nice.
Watched a movie, and then a few of us decided to go skinny dippin for the last time at around 2 in the morning. It was freezing! But it was so awesome. Then we heard the van pull away so we quickly got out and ran up with our towels. Both me and Julie fell flat on our faces when we tripped over the roots though. We found out it was the Wade supervisors though, trying to prank us.
Got a few letters from them, and Marty (their foreman)'s letter was amazing. Their 'Cereal' poem was hilarious too.
Took a shower at 4am, and then made bannock at 5. Went to the dock and watched the sunrise.
it was heartbreaking being one of the last three to watch everyone go.
