Challenge Day
Today = Challenge Day = Intense = Drained but happy.
Yes, I cried. A lot. I am a weepy person. Yes I feel like I want to change things and be a better person and make a difference and not judge people. Yes I said I was sorry to people I've hurt and meant it. Yes, I was happy because I hung out with Liz and Cecilia and Nate and David after school and felt accepted. The question is...will it last? Will the people who opened up today to complete strangers take that with them through the rest of the year, even the rest of the month? We'll just have to wait and see. For now, I send love to everyone because that's the mood I'm in.
And now I have to go read the 1st and 2nd acts of "The Merchant of Venice" and take notes for English tomorrow. That play is seriously anti-semitic, by the way, and I'm not appreciating it. I wish all Shakespeare made me as happy as "Romeo and Juliet."
