My ex-girlfriend* is suicidal, I haven't read Oedipus for tomorrow *or* done my French homework, and nobody wants to go to HOWL. Life stinks. Alas, alack.
On the plus side, I've been watching Fingersmith, the BBC adaptation of the Sarah Waters book, and it's really good. Even my parents are enjoying it. I freaked out when I found they had watched it, and thought they'd be funny about the lesbian relationship (which they probably are, but not to my face), but they're not letting it spoil their enjoyment or whatever. So, yeah...and Elaine Cassidy and Sally Hawkins have *such* good chemistry.
*Yup, Cass and I are no more, though that happened months ago and has nothing to do with her current state-of-mind
