Matthew Maginnis, an aquaintance of mine, died last Sunday. It was horrible. I didn't know what to say. Annie, Bronagh, Dette and Helen were all really close to him, so they were really upset about it. Even though I didn't know Matthew that well, the funeral was really upsetting and I cried my eyes out. Just looking at his parents...they were, of course, devastated. I keep wondering if it was the drugs.
[Edited to say: sorry, I didn't explain that very well. T'was a spur of the moment reaction. I mean Matthew and his friends were the biggest druggies ever and it was really humourous at the time but I think it was all the pressure that he put his body under that killed him. He already had heart problems when he was wee, he just made it worse. Rest in peace, Matt]
