Angel & Faith # 8
Wow.
I cannot tell you how much I would have LOVED to have seen this played out on screen. Angel and Faith are so awesome, and this comic is so well written. I totally adore it!
This whole sane Dru business...yeah, it works for me. Additionally, I don't think it was just the reappearance of Faith's father and his point of her not having changed (i.e. that she was still a murderer--present and not past tense) was the cause of her breakdown. She chopped that mobster guy's arm off because he was going to kill Angel. She did it to protect him; not because she wanted to hurt or kill anyone.
I really cannot wait until the next issue.
