* Sometimes, people astound me. There's a new Chicago bank, where if you open an account with direct deposit of at least two hundred clams, they will then give you an additional $150. And if you tell the banker who recommended you, then that person gets $100. I tried to explain this to some friends via email, and I would think that sounds simple enough...but apparently, it all seemed "too complicated." Perhaps if I had utilized text speak, incorrect grammar and sub-standard English, they would have understood.
FAIL.
*Today at work, I got a big hug from this hot therapist who I have a big ass crush on (and damn it, why did I* have to be sitting for that?? *tear). He has the most perfect hands EVER, and I could listen to him talk like all day...he's tall with a great body too. Part ginger (facial hair, but not on his head), but whatevs. Of course he's not single, and if he was, he'd be gay (because I have the luck that's not), but...still! Hug! And he thinks I'm awesome. He said that I was the "bee's knees" and the "cat's pajamas," (dorky, but cute). There was a scheduling conflict with a client, and I was able to get her to not only pay for her missed appointment, but tip and I managed to snag him another appointment for today. What, what?
*I am now up to 312 (free) downloads on my smashwords eBook. I already know what the next one will be about, though it will be a challenge since it will be more non-fic than fic but...I feel as if it is the story to tell at the moment. We'll see how that goes. Once I finish that, I will resume work on my screenplay comedy Epic Fail, and maybe work out an outline for my spec script for Psych (mixed with a bit of Green Acres crossover somehow).
*I am pondering a s5 Ats Christmas piece. Actually, I've been pondering it for over a year...but the other night, swimming somewhere between sleep and awak, I came up with some nifty dialgoue. Didn't have a point for it yet...but nifty dialogue is good, right? Right??
