<--artist needs assistance.
So...
Disappointment abounds once again.
It's been two months since I've written the script for issue one of my comic, only to find that the guy who was supposed to draw it? Is too busy to do it. Which is fine, of course, but I'm confused as to why it took two friggin' months to relay that bit of info to me, and that's only after I inquired. Sure, I could have asked sooner ("hey--how's the project coming?") but I didn't want to crowd him or whatever which...ultimately lead to me wasting a whole lot of time.
I need to find a new drawing person. Renderer? The person who actually draws and inks the comic. Pro bono, of course, which makes this even harder task. I not only need someone with the time, but someone with the chops and the passion to do it.
Anyone know anybody like that?
The new job--it's going well. It's up to my pacing and pays more than minimum wage...and I think will get me out to LA next summer. No, I know it will. My life will officially be starting next year, folks. I believe I"m on the path.
I've changed the name and url of my romance blog to Perpetually Single. I don't know how, but my last entry? Got nearly a thousand hits, when I was usually averaging nothing over 200, so I'm pretty happy about that :D A new entry is coming the next couple of days.
Also in the next couple of days, the Mark Metcalf interview will be posted. A little nervous about this one, since I"m actually in the shot...accidentally, but there's no way to edit that.
Later today, I will be posting a poll that I don't think has been discussed before, so I'm looking forward to that and the potential discussion.
