A/N 1: First, this is NOT a canon friendly piece. Not that it's bad or anything. I'm contemplating doing a few more of these-things I would have liked to have seen in season 7...So yeah-this may end up being the season seven rendition of "Impact," and therefore, the true "ending" remains to be seen.

Aww, she got him to stop drinking. I didn't think it could happen...lol! Canon, in my opinion, happened to suck beyond the telling of it, so me likey this muchly=)

I'd love to see more of the outcome of this, even though it stands very well on its own. This is a mature, insightful Buffy -- the way I think she could have been in Season 7 if only they'd given her the chance, you know?
