My dear Theo just left!
We had the get-together, then we went downtown and walked around and looked at the pretty buildings (Atlas Life, The old Bank, Holy Family, etc.). Then we went to McNellies, for delightful Ace Pear Cider and Sweet Potatoe fries with honey mustard. It was nice, although the music was a bit loud. Even the waiter/server was charming in his own way. A talkative fellow who invited himself to sit down and chat for a while (topics included Toby Kieth's bar and the Library). After enjoying our delicious drinks and food we walked to the center of the universe, where there were a few people lounging around on the concrete borders near the Artificial Cloud sculpture. One lady held a large cone of incense and there were large votive candles placed at the foot of the sculpture. It was quite interesting.
Now Theo has gone and I am in a wonderful mood. I enjoyed everyone's company tonight, and I hope everyone had a good time. If I seemed a little off tonight, I'm sorry. Next time! things will be better, I promise. Thank you to all who showed up.
