Lab report: Marigolds
Observation 1: I planted my 3 marigold seeds today and watered them. I put the seeds in upside down about 3 cm down into the dirt.
Observation 2: I didn’t have any growth from neither of the 3 plants. I planted 2 more seeds and did the same thing that I did in observation 1.
Observation 3: I have 2 little sprouts! both are aprox. 4cm tall and they are a greenish yellow color. Plant “A” is a little dryer looking (more yellowish) when compared to plant “B”.
Observation 4: My plants have grown a bit, plant “A” is looking a little death like kind of a brownish yellow but plant “B” is getting greener. Plant “A” is aprox. 2in and 6cm . Plant “B” is aprox. 2in and 1 cm. ALso plant “A” has a little flower type sprout.
Observation 5: One of my plants (plant “A”) is dying out and shriveling up to a dry brown. Plant “B” is getting bigger and bigger its aprox. 3 inches and 4 cm tall now and still green. Also, the flower sprout has sprouted and its about 4cm in diameter right now.
Observation 6: Plant “A” is like completely dead now, Well at least almost completely...its still standing but its all dead and brownish and shriveled. Plant “B” is still the same height, but the flower is budding even larger its about 5cm now.
Observation 7: Plant “A” is the same and plant “B” has no changes except that the flower has gotten a little bigger. (7cm) and its a little yellowish .
Observation 8: Plant “B’s” flower is still the same size but its turning a yellow orangey color and the stem is becoming yellowish.
