x'D We get earthquakes here quite often but a lot of them barely register on the Richter scale. I've seen a lot of people SAY they felt that earthquake but that's an obvious lie... Buthey! 3 Earthquakes in one day? @____@ Surely one of those would have been felt..
Well, the actual earthquake happened around 4:30 AM on Friday. It was about 5.2 on the scale according to CNN. It's epicenter was in souther IL so I should have felt it, but I"m a deep sleeper I guess >.>
The last 2 were aftershocks. My brothers felt it at school and during my homeroom, upperclassmen felt it on the other side of the building, and a school in our district had to be evacuated... but I felt nada.
I know, but I've never felt an earthquake before, so it would count. Oh well. Nature occurrences never come in my favor, and I've learned to accept that.
About the tornado thing though, the midwest is quite known for tornadoes, so I've seen my share of those. I really want see/feel/experience earthquakes and I'll be content with watching hurricanes and volcanoes (those actually frighten me... but i'm more afraid of volcanoes)
Ah, volcanoes.. I'm actually not that far from Mount St. Helens so volcanoes actually aren't too exciting. I mean, there's not much you can do against them after all. xD;
