the half-birthday procrastinator

ironically I write that for the music choice, b/c I’m listening to “the vegetative mix,” and the song that is currently playing is “Hallelujah” by Rufus Wainwright. NOT the most peppy song ever.

let’s take this moment to look at the time. (i.e. the time that I made this entry) no, I did not wake up early, b/c no, I have not gone to bed, yet. I just sort of finished this really fun paper on Emily Dickinson that inspired the above mood. (actually, I really enjoyed writing the paper. but since the vending machine cuts off the card swiper at 4 am - as Dan and I found out, this morning - and I’ve been sitting apple juice-less at my desk for the over 4 hours with a mix of radiohead, jewel, and dave matthews, so yea, it’s been a weird night.)

note to self: cardboard cutouts of your favorite dead presidents can be quite alarming to come across in your suite at 4 am. and next time you have a paper, buy apple juice in advance.

bed. b/c I’m that ridiculously not responsible for my own good sleepage.

love, me :O)

p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN!!! (+ cornbread/chocolate chip cookie fun!!)\

p.p.s. today is my half-birthday. that's almost a real holiday, and even more almost a reason to celebrate. maybe i'll eat half a cake today, or half of something else tasty.

p.p.p.s. HA! take that sunrise!!!

Today’s fortune: “Yaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggg.”
