ah, those final days of home
why am I still awake? yarrrggggggggg.
t-minus 28½-ish hours left before I skip town for another fantastic year in the ‘Burg. I am so psyched, although I’m not exactly packed, yet. and I’m still in the “saying goodbye to good friends and good kitchens” process.
highlights of today:
1) Indian buffet lunch with the ‘rent’s Bible study
2) go-karting + an old friend = super-mega fun
3) hanging out on Cary’s grandmother’s porch for a while (with Cary and old friend from highlight #2 - i.e. Leslie)
so I’ve come to realize that I am indeed a nerd. in light of this fact, here is a tentative list of things on tomorrow’s agenda:
* finish cleaning my room (yikes!)
* finish packing
* laundry
* lunch with Kelly and Jeb
* more cleaning and packing and laundry and other “getting ready to leave for college again” fun
* dinner with the fam
* coffee with Jessie - and so excited I could pee myself (seeing as how I haven’t seen him since July)
will there be another entry before I’m back in the ‘Burg? it’s possible, but unlikely. until then….

p.s. why is it that i always seem to have to leave, right when i discover something worth sticking around for? blast you dramatic irony!!
