Mother says she can hardly wait. I don't blame her--father's been going off an all these business trips and leaving us behind. A gathering at your Manor is a welcome change from all this dullness. Who else is going?

Your mother is simply lovely, Blaise. I feel so sorry for you - it's horrible when fathers leave for trips. I feel terrible when Father isn't he, so I can sympathise.

The Malfoys are attending, I believe, and so are the Brocklehursts; I've invited the Notts as well. And your family, of course.
