(no subject)
I was sitting after school doing my homework with Max's Valentine's day rose in a vase next to me before I had to go work at the Crashdown when suddenly heard a little tap on my window. I looked up, thinking I'd be Max, but I saw Rath. My heart started beating fast, but not out of fear. I walked over and opened the window and he came in. He jumped in and looked at the floor as he told me happy valentines day. I could feel my cheeks blushing.
"Thanks, you too."
He nodded over to the rose on my desk. "That from Max?"
I followed his gaze and kept it there. "It is, he gave it to me this morning."
I heard him kind of huff and said sarcastically say "Nice."
I sighed. And we started just chatting. He didn't stay long and didn't really clear anything up about my confusion, but it was nice just talking. As he was climbing out the window to leave, he turned around and gave me a little smile. That just sent butterflies through my stomache.
Unfortunately, dad asked me to work longer than i was expecting to at the Crashdown, so max and I couldn't go out, though he did visit me at work. But today he took a picnic basket up to me and we ate it ouside on the roof. It was cold but we snuggled with a blanket. I brought his rose outside to place in the middle of our picnic. It was nice.
Things are getting complicated. But they shouldn't be. Max is my boyfriend and Rath is my...friend?
