Christmas could be better..
1. My brother sprained his arm on a ramp my dad got him, so that was fun.
2. I found out last minute (6pm last night) that I wasn't able to get my mom concert tickets, so I couldn't get her ANYTHING because I had no time, and I just got her a giftcard to tak her out to eat. I am her ONLY FAMILY and I couldn't get her something decent? How fucking sad is that?
I'm still gonna get her presents but they're going to be late.
3. I have to work today.
***But none of that was worse than this morning. I got some of my aunt's old jewelry. And I could not stop crying. I miss her SO MUCH. It's not the same without her.
The presents were good, though. Olympus 5 mp camera, printer thingie, Tiffany's necklace, 18k gold/freshwater pearl earrings&matching necklace and Shiseido/Clinique/Estee/Givenchy makeup are what stand out the most-also got clothes from Express & A&F and perfume and such.
But, it's not about the presents. I never really knew what people meant by saying that Christmastime is family time, that is, until my aunt wasn't here and I couldn't quit crying. That sucked a lot.
I hate the holidays where you don't have the ones you truly love around you...
