After being stuck in traffic for TWO HOURS in Maryland, we decided to stop at a Comfort Inn in Virginia. As I sit here on this bed, I can't help but think about how far we are still from our destination. At least we're off the road, for now. I'm pretty excited to be sleeping on a bed tonight, because I've been sleeping on a couch for the past week and it's been killing my back. I'm going to sleep like a little baby, all by myself on this big comfy bed. Another great thing about being here is that I'm not longer feeling the urge to scream at my parents. Since I was driving through Maryland, I had the pleasure of stopping and going and stopping and going for over TWO HOURS!!! I'm so very very very tired right now, but we still have 700 miles to go.
This past week has been so stressful that it almost doesn't seem like it really happened. It was definitely the oddest time I've ever spent away from home.
Not a really enjoyable trip, but one I won't soon be able to forget.
Hopefully the awful time spent up North will pay off some how.
