I can understand why it would be weird for her though: to have someone who you've known (and flirted with) for so long, having them ask for your own child's hand in marriage. I'd feel old, too.

i love this moment between lora and roger. as shallow as they appear, they love each other madly and understand each other effortlessly. and even roger, as retarded as he is, desires little more than his wife's happiness and adoration :) they're truly made for each other.
