The stillness of my world is haunting..

The darkness only hiding what my eyes refuse to see..

The silent reflections leave my spirit wanting...

Inside these cold walls is where I'll always be..

Forever trapped inside this cage..

Deprived of any thoughts of hope..

Waiting for someone to turn the page..

And toss me down a rope...

Climbing to freedom is my goal..

And still I find myself in a wreck..

I should just crawl back in my hole..

And put the rope around my neck.
