it's always the quiet ones...
ahh...another day off.
can't believe i've almost had three days off in a row.
seems so unusual these days coz mostly just seem
to work day and night.
maybe it's felt so dreadful coz i've lacked motivation completely.
let's hope it gets better.
we had our office xmas party last nite.
it was at a hotel in espoo. for a last minute booking it was indeed
quite lovely and comfy.
i met with jasmin and heidi first to share a taxi to the hotel
and we giggled our way there.
downstairs in the hotel lobby we met up with other colleagues..
was nice to see that so many could actually attend.
we were the last ones to arrive so party was already in full blast.
literally. xD
so lots and lots of free booze and food and laughter.
some guys were even brave enough to try the sauna and swimming pool.
i think girls were mostly worried about their party dresses and make up. heh. ^^v
was fun to see everybody enjoy themselves tho and meet up with old collegues
whom i don't see that much at the office anymore.
only one thing pissed me off. people taking tons of photos. i hate it.
of course they can take all they wish but not with me in them.
i thought i made it clear, several times..but apparently it only made them
want to take my photos more. ohhhh how i hate that. i got really angry
and it kinda spoiled my mood for a while.
but i calmed down and drank more. xD
strangely enough i wasn't drunk at any point.
as many know, i'm not at all a drinker. one drink and i'm under the table.
but my menu for last night:
6 bacardi breezers
1 long drink (gin)
2 strawberry margharitas
1 mojito
...and nothing! no dizzyness, no falling down..other than my usual clumsyness.
i wonder what brought that on. O.o;
the hotel was booked only until 11pm so some left straight home
while the rest of us waited for taxis to go downtown to party.
we ended up at amarillo (a bar) and it was quite fun.
tho my dear colleagues were mostly already so drunk that
none of them could stand straight and their actions were rather..
questionnable. xD (i'm not pointing any fingers XD)
so i drank a lil and danced a lil (thanks niko XD GHOSTBUSTERS! XD)
and then headed home.
very interesting evening indeed..
today i woke up feeling slightly sick but it went away as soon as i got up.
so i made some breakfast and went out for a long walk.
was quite refreshing and feel much better now.
i popped by at the shop to get some groceries and painkillers from pharmacy.
sis also called from her holiday..can't remember where she went xD
some southern island bungalow place with her fiancé anyways.
she seemed happy so i'm happy too.
sis also found some stella perfume half the price from what it's sold here. O.o
me want me want!
tomorrow it's back to work. i'm panicking a lil about tokyo already.
so much to do before my trip and so little time. only ten days now.
i should make a list of things to do before i leave.
TICKETS MONEY PASSPORT? XD -oh yeah..condoms might be good xD ahahah
