Yay! This was great! I like how things are moving along, especially work-wise. They've made a big break in the case (thanks to Pepa), and now she's going to be back on active duty. I hope it goes a long way in making her feel like she's back to "normal".

As for Pepa and Silvia...eesh...I have no idea what direction they're heading in! I don't know if Silvia not pushing for answers is a good thing or not. On the one hand, it seems good that she's not blowing up right now over where Pepa was/what she was doing...but on the other hand, like Lola, I'm afraid it's just going to lead to a bigger explosion down the road. And that Pepa still hasn't opened up to Silvia just can't be good either...and I imagine her investigation is only going to continue, and that it's just going to lead to more evasions. :-/ For now, things seem fairly calm and happy, but there's an undercurrent of tension that's just not being addressed...and that sort of thing can only go on for so long!

Well...thanks for the shout-out!! I had a wonderful birthday in Chicago (still jealous?), and it was certainly nice to come home to an update! :-D I, uhm, haven't written a damn word for my next chapter yet, but I have to keep up my half of the bargain, so I'm hoping to get it done this weekend. ;-)

Welcome back! I'm glad you had a great trip. Lucky you! I spent the weekend buried in exams... *sighs*

I can't advance what's in store for Pepa and Silvia, but I can tell you this: drama! So...keep the kleenex handy, ;)

I'm glad you liked how the story unfolds in this chapter. I had the impression that it was a lot of information in just one chapter. The problem is that I have such a clear picture in my mind of what's going to happen that, sometimes, I forget people can't read my mind. Therefore, to compensate, I tend to overexplain things.

Anyway, about your story... I think I should tell you that I'll be biting my nails while waiting for that update of yours, so don't be mean, have in consideration that my nails aren't that long! :P
