Thinking Through Various Thoughts
1) somewhere along the way I started dressing girly. Not sure when all that happened.
2) if I work until 70 I have 35 years of work left...and of course I've only been on the planet 35 years. So I have an entire lifetime of work left to do. My question to me is: what do I want to make of that?
3) on radio yesterday expert said it would only take ten years for women to go from 3% of all CEO's to a "normative, balanced" amount. I hope she is right.
4) if I'm the best example for Wade to see what womanhood is...I have to not just be the change I want to see in the world. I have to be the person I want to grow in this world and so does Matt so she can be an even more awesome kick-ass person than either of us are. But that begs the question: am I really living my values and my priorities? I may be missing out on showing Wade: time in nature, work-life balance, etc.
