Weekend Away
Whibey is nice enough...at least Langley where we stayed was great. Nice shops, expensive clothing boutiques, neat art and some cool grocery stores. Restaurant prices were high. Prima is great. The Dog House will never be returned to again, probably not even at gun point...it was terrible. Do not be tempted by their sweet potatoe fries...they are not fries they a mushy terrible orange sweet things. Mike's Place is fine for coffee or ice cream, don't eat there.
Couldn't find Gordon's in Freeland that was recomended to us...will have to find out morea about that when I chat with my co-worker who lives in Langly. The shore was lovely!
1 Angle Chocolate Bar -- OMG this place is amazing. Go, go now, go often and have a truffle shot. Pure chocolate, melted and mixed with emulsifiers to keep it silky and smooth then mixed with flavors and spices to create a one of a kind, made to order and to your tastes chocolate taste experience!!!! Go! What are you waiting for...the ferry...well then OK.
