First, we took two cars.
Vanderbolt's parents in one car, and
Vanderbolt and I in his car. This was great. We listented to the iPod on the way up, and I even watched a few episodes of Tiki TV.
On the way up we stopped at the
Oyster Creek Inn. We were between meals, so we simply snacked on a roasted garlic cheese plate and some tiger prawns...mmmmmmmmm. We were sure to have the coffee with cream and sugar. They whip up cream for the coffee, it's sooooooooooooo yummy.
We also stopped in Blaine so I could post a thank you letter to my interviewer.
I had an interview with a recruiter. It lasted exactly one hour. I think it went well. There are 9 other candidates who made it to this point. I won't know anything more until later this week.
The boarder crossing was a hoot. They asked us if we'd ever been arrested. Then we sailed through and basically right on to
the best place to stay in BC. We had a pretty relaxing time, and enjoyed some out of the way stuff like a small country fair that we would not have gone to if my in-laws hadn't suggested it. We really enjoy the general BC country side and all the farmlands that we passed.
So now I'm back at work *that's life*
