Nothing's the same after tonight
Thinking back on the situation, Chloe couldn’t believe a realization hadn’t occurred to her sooner. The world around her felt so cold and no one could possibly understand the pain, the loss, suffering, and anguish. At least until he happened. That night he showed her desires she had long since forgotten and even though she told herself it was a fluke, a spur of the moment if you will. She knew she was lying to herself. It wasn’t just physical, but mental, a spiritual moment of pure ecstasy.
This party is old and uninviting
Participants all in black and white
You enter in full-blown Technicolor
Nothing is the same after tonight
Eagerness replaced the importance of taking it slow, neither one of them knew how much time they had. Could be a lifetime, could be just tonight. Words weren’t used; too many needed to be said, but not enough time to say them. They turned their words into actions. Illustrated their feeling through light caresses followed by eager kisses until someone had to annoyingly breathe. They didn’t have time for breathing. At some point morning would come and the world would need them. But not tonight, tonight it was about them.
If the world would fall apart
In a fiction-worthy wind
I wouldn't change a thing now that you're here
Yeah, love is a verb here in my room, here in my room,
Here in my room
Yeah, love is a verb, here in my room, here in my room,
Here in my room
Nothing existed outside the room as secrets were whispered by the quiet sounds of appreciation and adoration. She was nervous, it had been too long since someone had worshipped her the way she needed. Since she let her guard down and completely trusted someone. She told him that once. That she didn’t completely trust him. She was guarding her heart, but now she was throwing caution to the wind and letting him overtake her. She wasn’t sure when they made it to the makeshift bedroom she just remembered him kicking the door shut as they continued to savagely remove the offensive clothing covering up their innermost dreams. Oliver was very persuasive, even when he didn’t say anything at all.
You enter and close the door behind you
Now show me the world as seen from the stars
If only the lights would dim a little
I'm weary of eyes upon my scars
She wanted this, wanted him and he knew that. She could tell from his smile, Oliver Queen had many smiles. This was just one of many he would show to her and only her. She knew he was being just as vulnerable tonight as she was. And that is why it was absolute perfection for the both of them.
If the world would fall apart
In a fiction-worthy wind
I wouldn't change a thing now that you're here
Your love is a verb here in my room, here in my room,
Here in my room
Your love is a verb here in my room, here in my room,
Here in my room
Chloe wasn’t sure how long they stayed in the bedroom learning each other’s bodies like an artist painting his canvas. It was pure bliss. The perfect lyrics to the exact melody. His hands slid over her body like an sculptor creating his masterpiece and he molded himself to her until they couldn’t tell were one ended and the other began.
Pink tractor beam into your incision
Head spinning as free as dervishes whirl
I came here expecting next to nothing
So thank you for being that kind of girl
At first it seemed like it would of just been a one-time deal. As the sun rose and they had finally exhausted all options to the point near paralysis, Chloe became haunted by the meaning of the night. And then she opened her eyes. Oliver smiled. And in that moment she knew nothing would ever be the same.
