I'm a Tard
So my spiffy shoes did arrive today which would have made my day if it wasn't for the fact that they are a little too big. I ordered half a size bigger since they're boots and I didn't want them to be too snug. Turns out I shouldn't have done that. Absolutely unnecessary. Good thing customer service at Zappos is just amazing and they're going to send out a replacement. I'll be getting them on Friday, so definitely something good for the weekend.
I did pair up the boots with my black cigarette ankle jeans and it rocked. I really hope the 8.5 fits well with my jeans. I'll go bat shit if it doesn't.
It might be insane but lately I've been thinking I want to go to nursing school. It might be the fault of television or a combination of things but the idea has been lingering in my brain for quite some time. I did really well in biological sciences in the Spring (constantly busting my ass) so hmm. Makes me feel like I've wasted a lot of time getting a business degree for no reason at all. I mean, I'm not particularly business minded so I don't even know why I wanted to be in HR anyway. Well, yes I do I guess. I mean, business is the best declared "undeclared" major ever, especially HR. I mean all industries need someone to hire and fire, do payroll, and training right? Yeah that's what I thought too.
Guess I'll be spending the rest of this week looking up grad school for my MBA, or nursing school. And trying to put together a costume for a 1920's themed party on Saturday. I really don't want to be boring and go as a flapper, but I don't want to spend boatloads of time putting an outfit together. And considering the fact that I can't sew...everything is pretty much going to be bought. *sigh*
