Lazy, Lazy, Lazy
I have done nothing of any use today, and it feels amazing. I read my new books, and lounged in bed. There is something amazing about a day of slacking after dealing with the public for too long.
I was shocked and horrified to see Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all charges. The prosecution must have screwed that case up amazingly. They couldn't even get the charges of intoxicating a minor to stick. That's just sad.
I remember watching the OJ verdict, way back when I was in high school, and feeling this same sense of disgust.
At the very least, I am disappointed that Michael Jackson will probably never seek the sort of help that he very obviously needs. Even if he is innocent of molestation, the guy really needs to invest in a compitent therapist. If I had a bit more faith in him, I would hope that this trial points him in that direction.
