New pooter
It's been a long time. The pooter made an absolutuely horrific noise and died. I took it to the nice Mac Genius guys. They handled it reverently with respect for its age but did diagnose it dead. Its hard drive was buggered, apparently. So I um-ed and er-ed and thought and bought myself a shiney new MacBook. The Mac Genius guys will look after it for a year for me and it meant they would take old pooter apart and attempt to free its brain. Mohammed the Mac Genius (who now gives me and Liam a friendly wave when we go in the shop) made sure old pooter got regenerated into the new one with all its quirks and everything. I'm very pleased. And today Liam went with me and said techy things while I bought an ADSL wireless router. Now the magic internet fairies can get into my bedroom and everything. Liam was heroic in setting it up, much talking to internet support people was needed.
So now I have the ninterweb and it is better than before!
