ignorance is bliss
Last Thursday, when I woke up to the news that the country was on a critical state of alert against terrorism my thoughts were "why is critical more critical than severe? why isnt severe more severe than critical?"
When I read on the bbc that Transatlantic flights had been suspended for a while and planes were only being cleared to land if they were already in the air i remarked to Sergio that i thought that was odd since they appeared to be worrying about planes leaving Britain rather than ones coming in
What Im glad I didn't know at the time was that my little girl was already on one of those planes just leaving american airspace and headed for Manchester.
