♠ I have lost my 53 mojo. It's very distressing. In fact, I think I've lost my mojo in general, but I've noticed the 53 bit most because I just read Volumes 6, 7 and 8 of Reload. DAMN. I mean, I should have known something was wrong. The last Saiyuki themed thing I was working on was 58...admittedly from Sanzo's perspective, but still, something clearly wasn't right. And now, much as bits of me want to write 53 (or just really angsty Sanzo introspection), I...can't? Won't? Perhaps part of it is a bit of a characterisatieon crisis...I think I've managed to convince myself I can't write anyone in character. I'm good at doing that to myself. :p
♠ Volumes 6, 7 and 8 also sort of destroyed me emotionally. Or they would have, if my exam hasn't done it for them first. :p The only highlight was the Kougaji fangirling. That was excellent. Oh, and the bonus chapter bit where they were all in a mansion a la one of those Victorian era detective novels. XD
♠ I wish somebody would HURRY UP and scanlate the new chapters of Cantarella. I have been reading the raws, supplemented by my historical knowledge, but it's not hugely illuminating. I need to know what my Cesare is saying. Still, it's all gettieng very dramatic. I sense doom is imminent. Quite imminent. I would scanlate them myself, but I, you know, can't speak Japanese. Which is sort of a problem.
♠ Note to Joon from MBLAQ in the Oh Yeah video: Pants are bad. Either get better ones, or stop wearing them. Baggy pants do not take away from the fact your 'shirt' is a series of strips of fabric draped over your rippling abdominal muscles. Not that I'm complaining about the shirt. The shirt is great. Fix the pants and I'll be happy.
♠ My internet...is running at the speed of a particularly listless tortoise. I can download nothing. I can load nothing. It is driving me BERSERK. I NEED new music for studying. I NEED new manga for my study breaks. I NEED to be able to look at the new FF XIII pictures. And I cannot. God knows why. Bandwith? Perhaps. No idea how to check bandwith, and whether I've exceeded it. No idea.
♠ Should really stop listening to 'Who Knew' by Pink. It's one of the few songs that, for no apparent reason, chokes me up a bit. I don't love Pink or anything, though I like some of her music, but still. Don't know why. It's like 'No Good Deed' from Wicked. I actually can't listen to it, it's a bit sad. :p Music does that to me more than anything else. Tugs the heartstrings. It's amazing. I've always been like that though, I can be poker faced through a tragic scene in a movie unless a the perfect song is playing.
