weekend update... racism, reno 911, drinks.
thursday night
instead of doing the whole bars scene downtown, carrie and i opted for some good ol wholesome fun. we went to the bowling alley but apparently they were gonna close soon, so we went to their bar inside instead. they had kareokee thursdays, sooo funny!! there werent a lot of ppl there, so it was pretty chill. then afterwards we went to Cafe Mare and got some drinks there. had the typical run in with ridiculously drunk guys. hella funny!! i mean, reeeeeeally?? its soo attractive when u slur ur speech and cant hold urself up (and even fall)!! ::please note the sarcasm:: then we finish our night with some racist asshole! here's a snippet of the convo.
asshole: "this town has really changed. this used to be a resturaunt and now its some club shit. its cuz all the brothas moved in."
me: (chokes on drink) "ummm... excuse me? did u just say 'brothas'? what the hell is that supposed to mean?"
asshole: "you wouldnt get it, im mexican."
me: "im pretty im mexican and im not really understanding what ur trying to say"
(then he procedes to tell me that the NBA All-Star game in vegas had a record all time high of arrests, crimes, fights, blah blah blah blah)
asshole: "its cuz it was mostly black people that went"
me: "are u serious right now?? are u really that ignorant?? first of all, if u combine any high profile event like that of the all-star game with Las Vegas... SIN CITY, ur bound to have arrests, regardless of race. second, im pretty sure the simple fact that it was in Las Vegas made it more enticing for a larger crowd to go. if it was in kentucky, wouldnt nobody wanna go and, yes, the crimes, arrests, etc would be lower. third, the simple fact that it was such a large event makes for more police, hence more arrests. fourth, there's no other way to phrase it but simply put, ur racist!! and dont u ever use the fact that ur mexican to try and validate ur racist comments. ur a disgrace to mexicans b/c u give us a bad name."
his white friend: "ur luh-tina????"
(apparently surprised that i wasnt white)
me: "yup, im LATINA!" (i didnt bother trying to explain that i was mixed b/c that would have been justification for my response to that ass-hole)
so in the end, the guy was pissed and left to the bathroom. hahaha!
friday night
smoked 3 joints with my peeps right before going into see RENO 911!!!! hahahahah! i love that show, so i was already knowin the movie was gonna be hella funny. but u definitely have to be blowed to see it. we were high as a mutha fuckin kite!! hahaha! then afterwards we tried to hit up some parties, but the mission was a failure. im reminded why i stopped going to house college parties!
saturday night
met up at courtney's house with a few other peeps. we drank there so we wouldnt have to pay for drinks at the bars. HEY, im cheap when i need to be! and paying $10 per drink starts to put a dent in ur wallet after a while!! lol... we headed to The Red Room and long story short, got hella drunk and ended our night at taco bell! hahaha!
soo carrie and kristin came back from their weekend at Cal Poly. Both girls got some ass while out there and THANK GOD!! not so much for kristin, b/c home girl gets some when she wants it anyway. but carrie was in major need!! not just for some ass but for some kind of attention from a guy. she majorly cock blocks sometimes w/me and kristin b/c she becomes this hater and starts to trip that we're with a doode and she's not! talkin bout some we're "dicks over chicks". so i was hella happy for her when she came home and started to tell me stories. it was like all tha girl could talk about!! i guess she was just hella happy cuz she got some attention and lovin. it was funny cuz kristin told me about her weekend and that was it, it wasnt no big deal that she met a doode. but for carrie's ass, i guess it's new to her! hahah! hopefully this'll make her dumb ass stop going to/calling/talking/ANYTHING with jamil, b/c that doode plays her for a fool!!!! but thats a WHOLE different story!! lmao!! good lord i hope my roommates DONT ever find my LJ web address b/c they would not be too pleased! hahaha!
