I really like those Fancy Feast ads where the cat’s mum is out fishing for dinner. I just saw the one where the mum is trying to catch a turkey. It makes me smile. And I want her wardrobe.
When Sam is out on weekends, I watch trashy US TV shows on pay tv. Today it’s Oprah. At 3pm there is a show called “renovate my wardrobe”. It’s a combination of those make-over shows like How To Look Good Naked, and home reno shows. The stylist takes all the clothes away, teaches the subject what works and what doesn’t etc. He then alters and remodels some of the garments to make them more flattering, versatile or wearable. I find that really inspiring. Meanwhile, the architect guy is remodelling the actual wardrobe or closet space in the home. 2 days later the subject comes home for the big double reveal - the closet and the clothes. I’m going out for lunch with Sam (he’s working in the city today) then some shopping. I am seriously considering recording it so I can watch it tomorrow.
