Actually...
I MUST find an assistant for myself soon. I've been talking to Amy Shepherd (you may know her, she's one of my best friends, but she went to Cousino) about coming in here, but she needs a job like NOW. I would need a girl (with secretary skills or experience) in like January/February. We get extremely busy when Spring approaches. I usually get a girl in here to train, which she gets paid for training, a month or so ahead of time. I teach her the basics and then she gets started.

However, now that we're going to be in this new building soon, our company (which is already huge in this area) is going to get larger, so we're going to need to keep my assistant/secretary full time year-round whereas in the past few years, we just need them during the busy months of the year. In the new building, she will have her own office, computer, cameras, etc. Her and I may or may not share a bathroom (if she's clean, I'd love to share a cute girl's bathroom just for us!) My company also pays for schooling, somewhat. It all depends on what you're going for and stuff. We also give everyone the option to buy/lease a vehicle. They can get it as new as they want and our company will pay half of the monthly payment up to $200.00. I never participated in that, but I think next year I'm getting a TrailBlazer, and with my company's half payment, it will be $200.00 a month.

We also have a lot of fun here. I'm the only girl, Executive Administrator and it's like me and 20 guys. :) But the guys are all so nice and we have *SO* many parties/get togethers for work. We do an Annual Canoe Trip, an Annual Pig Roast, an Annual Golf Outing, Annual Christmas party, etc... and they're all *SO* much fun. I don't know, my mom worked here for 9 years as the Executive Administrator and when I was younger, when it got busy, I was the girl who came in to be her assistant for those busy months. Then, after school, I started full time and it was her and I full time, then she stopped working and started working for another company out of her house, so I took over Executive Administrator and I've been here for 5 years and I love it.

The new building, I can't wait!! The offices are so big and we're builing a loft bedroom just incase anyone wants to take a nap or "if one of the guys gets kicked out of their house for a night or they get sick of their wife," lol... my boss is a dork. But we're putting in a bath/shower because I live so far away and if I have plans after work it's such a pain in the ass to go all the way home and get ready, so it'll be more convenient for everyone.

I don't know, I'm sorry, I'm rambling. I'm just so excited. :) You have a good point.

Omg, it'd be soooo easy!! :) And it's *SO* much fun.
Our new office is on E. Warren just south of Cadieux... it's considered in Detroit, but it's really not. We don't do work in Detroit... we do all the Grosse Pointes, Harper Woods, East Pointe, Roseville, St. Clair Shores, only 48224 of Detroit, some Warren, a little of Clinton Township and once in awhile we do other areas if it's a big job.

I don't know... we all just went next store to the bar, so I came back here to finish up some stuff and I'm heading back over there for a few drinks. I'll get back to ya and we'll talk some more :) Have a good weekend if I don't hear from ya. <33
