you'd think i would be looking foward to manila
last night mel and i went out to dinner at Fado. it's an irish pub downtown on 1st ave. i was not impressed at all. the food was flavorless, the crowd was lame, and basically we should have just gone back to Contour. now that place was fun!
tonight we're going to see tori amos at the winery in woodinville. i'm pretty excited. i didn't think i would be, but i have faith that she'll be "on" tonight. when we saw her at benaroya hall she just wasn't herself, but this should be fun. and if not, there's always wine to be had!
my work can suck my ass. i am trying very hard to do this branch a favor by doing laurie's job until they find a replacement (since they won't give me the job because i'm lisa's daughter) and i'm left out to dry when there is a problem. why on earth would a manager make herself unavailable when she knows that the funder (who doesn't really know the job anyway) is having problems with more than one file? i don't know what i'm suppose to do here. just because one thing changes on a file doesn't mean that the rest of the file stays as is, IT CHANGES TOO and i don't know what to do.
