Must be:
Accessible and upbeat but a tiny bit edgy, maybe baby?
Post - year 2000
Synthetic-80s style pop/electronica most welcome, not so keen on R&B unless
very soulful.
No Scissor Sisters (overrated), Gwen Stefani (overdressed) or Simon Cowell-inspired (for fuck's sake.....!)
No 80's has-beens (unless they've had the mullet forcibly shaved off)

Any suggestions for this match made in heaven?
