It obviously is because the boat is continuing its endeavor into iceburg-seppuku.

And Jim is terrified.

Swimming. Swimming, that one thing he never learned on Montressor and didn't learn here (half-sinking in the caves? Doesn't count). Welp. Now he didn't have much choice in the matter and Sokka looked like he wasn't going to give him much choice either.

His life. Why. But he swallows hard and nods to his friend. Oh please let them not die.]

You're on a boat. You never...you know. Thought it might be important to learn? Just, y'know. Considering.

But Hiccup doesn't berate him. They don't have time for that now, and frankly Jim doesn't deserve it. He'll do his best to help.]

Easiest way not to sink is to kick your legs. Kick them back and forth while you extend your arms and twist your torso.

[Oh hey, don't know if you noticed, but Hiccup got a kiss from a girl.

Oh, also, he's hanging out by the railing.]

[He jerks his head in the direction of shore.]

Let's go!

[The second after he says that, Hiccup sucks in a breath and starts climbing over the railing. He stops, hanging off the other side. Sorry if it makes him a wuss, but he's waiting for his friends.

Like he had any chance of beating Astrid to shore anyways.]
