[There's an enormous explosion that rocks the boat violently, and then something that feels like an earthquake. Items will fall off shelves, passengers will be thrown off their feet, and walls will peel off

[Oh what the hell is this? Can't things just stop falling apart for five fucking seconds? And that darkness is definitely not normal. With his swords drawn Kevas heads for the top deck to see what the hell is going on.
Just who the hell is that? And he's got a box in his hands. Oh this can't be good.]
[Instinct screams at Kevas to put his swords in the man and end this now, of course there's always the chance that could just make things worse and who knows, maybe he's here to help. And maybe a reindeer is going to fly out of his ass in the next few seconds.
Kevas moves closer and keeps his swords raised and ready for action.]
Who are joo and whatchu be doin' here? Speak quickly or I'll put joo down now.
[The troll looks at the box and then to Gambler. That thing, it's the red mass that he saw at the party. It has to be. The same thing that came from boxes just like the one he's holding.
His eyes narrow and his grip on his swords gets tighter.]
Joo did dis didn't joo? Joo brought dat t'ing here!
[That earns a laugh from Gambler. Gosh, you're funny, Kevas.]
He couldn't stop it. What makes you think that you can?
[Gambler's eyes grow intent and dark.]
It's powerful. Beyond powerful. There isn't even a word for what it is because it just is. It's the End...the end of you, of everyone you care about on this cheap illusion, and most importantly, the end of him.
[His lip curls in a sneer on that last word, leaving Redd's name unspoken.]

Yes, that!

Why? What da hell be it?!
[The heron's tale races through his mind. Please don't let that be what he thinks it is.]

[Gambler smiles brightly.]

Kevas snarls and takes a step towards him.]
Den why are joo just standin' here? We need to do sometin'!
Reply
We can't do anything now.
[Gambler's smile widens and he drums his nails against the side of the box.]
Don't worry, it'll only hurt for a little bit.
Well, maybe.

[His fingers pause and he turns the box over in his hands idly, then gives Kevas a sidelong look, still smiling.]
I just made sure it was sooner.

The troll's lips peel back in a wicked smile.]
No mon, it just be da end of joo.
[Kevas drives the hilt of one of his swords at Gambler's face. Killing him will come after he gets this guy to tell him how to stop it.]

Not yet, I think.
I get to watch this all play out. I've been waiting for this for years and I am not going to miss watching it take down the great man at last.
[He tosses the box up into the air and catches it. Everything in his body language says he doesn't consider Kevas a threat at all.]
I spent ages under his heel, you know. As his hound. He thought I was nothing, even during the mutiny.
[Gambler's voice lowers to a soft murmur as he looks to the red mass growing larger in the distance.]
It's the arrogance of great men that brings them to their knees, you know.
