Halloween Party!
Well good evening there duckies! As you may have noticed, plot is chug-chug-chugging along at a decent clip, but for now, let's take a break for a HALLOWEEN PARTY! YAAAAAAAAY!
Since so many people are absent this weekend, we have decided to push the party back slightly. And since Redd himself is so distracted lately, he completely lost track of the calendar until the last minute. Oops!
Unfortunately this erm, means the party has some ... character. And by character, I mean he completely half-assed the entire thing.
At 4PM PST on Monday, all characters will find themselves magically whisked to Deck 20, which has been reprogrammed to look like a cemetery! Ooooh, spooky! The headstones read many names, none of which are recognizable. They are largely unremarkable, apart from the fact that they feel like real stone. Actually, it feels unnervingly like a real graveyard.
On top of that, everyone will be turned human from Sunday 8PM PST until 8PM PST Wednesday 3rd, so that they can wear their snazzy Halloween costumes! Oh, you didn't choose one? That's fine, the Captain shall provide! In fact, he's given everyone a lovely garbage sack costume and paper mask! They may choose from any of the "traditional" Halloween movie monsters for their costume. Their normal clothes are beneath the sacks, however they will find them impossible to remove. Masks are removable so characters will be able to eat, though considering what Redd's put together, they may not feel any driving need to.
There's a long banquet table set up with paper tablecloths with badly printed pumpkins on them. The food selection is meager at best. Some cookies with black icing dribbled on them in a vague spider shape. Green and orange cupcakes that taste of nothing more than sugar. A heated service cart with warm food that looks like it was just wheeled in from the buffet.
Unfortunately, even the drink selection is pathetic. Passengers will find bottles of only cheap vodka and rum available, and at best, two or three non-alcoholic drinks to mix them with.
Characters who were around during the last Halloween party will find that the music playing is nearly the same exact playlist from before.
On Monday the 1st, expect a post from elegante_events for the initial entrance to the Halloween party. On Tuesday the 2nd, a closing post will be put up for a special and exciting costume contest and bobbing for apples competition! Be there or be square!
