Well, I'm from Earth! Most of the people I've met haven't even heard of chemistry or science or anything I know about, so just the fact you're a crime scene investigator is very reassuring to hear.
And S.T.A.R.S. is the Special Tactics And Rescue Service. We were a special division of the Raccoon City Police Department who were assigned jobs too hard for the regular police to handle.
... Really? Hmm... Well, I've met others from different times too, I guess. Maybe there are different versions of worlds too. It'd be kind of hard for you not to have heard of Raccoon City if you were from the same Earth as me.
This is very strange. I haven't heard of Raccoon City...What country/state is it in? Maybe that will help jar my memory. If it's a big city, I should know it...
Hm. Maybe we are from different worlds. As a crime scene investigator you'd have heard about the viral outbreak. See, Raccoon City isn't... there anymore.
Well, it's not... not at all, but I wasn't from there in the first place, and I was nowhere nearby when it happened. Most of my friends are confirmed safe too... so it's not as bad as it could have been.
Oh! I nearly forgot! My name is Officer Rebecca Chambers! It's nice to meet you, Ms...?
Please tell me about being an investigator! It sounds so interesting. My job is a little too guns and glory for my liking. I'd prefer to be in a laboratory myself.
No, I was there before the outbreak. I was drafted into S.T.A.R.S. as a field medic and we were sent out to investigate some strange murder incidents in the mountains outside the city. Things... went to hell, sort to speak, and the rest of my team and I managed to get out a few weeks before the outbreak.
Crime scenes... I don't know how well I'd do at those anymore. Dead people make me a little nervous now. I feel right at home in a lab, though. What kind of lab work do you do?
Sounds like you have done a lot of the things that I normally do in the time before the outbreak, but I may be assuming things.
I understand your sentiment about the crime scenes. I was about to take some time off before I landed here. Although, I will miss the lab work. I really did a little bit of everything, but the lab techs took care of a lot of things like fingerprints and DNA for my coworkers and I. So, I wasn't in the lab all that much.
I really hope you never have to deal with the kind of things that happened on that one investigation... it was actually my first and last mission with the S.T.A.R.S..
I've had some time off too... about three years of it, actually. I guess this place will be like an extended vacation for me.

I always wanted to be a crime scene investigator, before I got recruited into S.T.A.R.S..

S.T.A.R.S.? What's that, if I may ask?

Ah...Where is Raccoon City though? I haven't heard of it before...

But hopefully our science works the same.

Hopefully...

It's very strange. We still must not be from the same world. It was 2001 in my home when I came here... and you'd HAVE to have heard of Raccoon City.

Name's Sara Sidle, it's nice to meet you!
It's interesting...I'm not in the laboratory most of the time. I'm out in the field working at the crime scenes.
